Meet Megan & Gabriella

Megan and Gabriella are builders, makers, and educators who believe that everyone deserves access to hands-on skills in an inclusive, ego-free environment. With a deep passion for woodworking, construction, and craft, they create welcoming spaces where women and non-binary folks can learn, grow, and build confidence.

Gabriella lives at Stones Throw Homestead, where she tends to goats, horses, and a vibrant community rooted in self-sufficiency and connection. She’s dedicated to sharing skills that empower others, believing that building—whether structures or relationships—is a powerful act of creativity and resilience.

Megan is a carpenter by trade and owns a custom build and renovation business. As a teacher, she invites students into the wide and dynamic world of building. She’s passionate about demystifying woodworking and construction, making these fields more approachable, and showing that learning a trade can be empowering and deeply fulfilling.

Together, Megan and Gabriella are committed to making skill-sharing accessible and enjoyable. They believe in learning from each other as much as they teach, and they aim to break down barriers that can make trades feel intimidating. Through their workshops, they strive to build not just structures, but also confidence, creativity, and a strong, supportive community—while having plenty of fun in the process.
